Recently released Telugu action comedy drama Viswam, starring Macho Star Gopichand and directed by Srinu Vaitla, premiered in theaters on October 11, 2024. While the movie generated some initial buzz, it received lukewarm reviews from both critics and audiences. Although some praised its comedic elements, it wasn’t enough to make a significant impact at the box office.
Now, speculation suggests that Viswam will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting November 1, 2024, as a Diwali special. An official announcement is awaited to confirm this release, and it remains to be seen how the film will perform on OTT.
Kavya Thapar stars as the female lead alongside Gopichand, with a supporting cast that includes Naresh, Pragati, Vennela Kishore, Jisshu Sengupta, Sunil, Rahul Ramakrishna, Pruthvi, and Mukesh Rishi. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Venu Donepudi, the film’s music is composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj.
