Pooja Kumar, who played the lead role in Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam, has bagged a crucial role in an upcoming crime TV series in the US. For the past few weeks, she has been shooting for ‘Those who kill’, an adaptation of the Danish crime TV series of the same name. In the past, Pooja Kumar had appeared in a select few TV shows like Chuck, Bollywood Hero and Law & Order : Special Victims Unit.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is busy with the post-production of Vishwaroopam 2, which is slated for release in early 2014. In the first part, Pooja Kumar had played Dr.Nirupama, who is married to Vishwananthan (Kamal Haasan), and later she realizes that her husband is infact a member of the Indian army. She’s expected to play a bigger and more crucial role in the sequel.
Directed by Kamal Haasan, Vishwaroopam 2 also stars Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles. Ghibran is scoring the music and Shamdat is the cinematographer.
