Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 has dominated headlines for four days after its release was abruptly halted, leaving fans and stakeholders upset. The producers are now working to resolve the issues and secure clearance for release.
Noted producer TG Vishwa Prasad reacted to the situation on X. He said the last minute hurdle for Akhanda 2 left him disappointed. He also addressed a separate round of rumours linked to The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas.
Over the last few days, several unverified claims suggested that the film might move from its January 9, 2026 release date, which created confusion among fans.
Vishwa Prasad dismissed the speculation. He stated that all raised investments are cleared through internal funds and the remaining interest will be settled shortly, well before business opens.
His clarification brought much needed relief to fans. The first song has already set the vibe and promotions will begin soon.
