After the success of Kannappa, actor and producer Vishnu Manchu is making headlines again. He is investing Rs. 100 crore in Microdramas. Industry sources say Vishnu is using his own money and raising additional funds, showing a big step forward in entertainment.

So, what are Microdramas? They are very short stories, lasting 3–7 minutes, made mainly for people watching on mobile phones. Each episode is carefully written, visually impressive, and emotionally engaging. Unlike regular social media reels, these stories have professional direction, high-quality production, and strong storytelling.

With Kannappa proving his talent as an actor and producer, Vishnu’s new project shows his vision as a leading entrepreneur in Indian entertainment.

An industry insider said: “Vishnu has gone from giving one of the most talked-about performances of the year to betting big on how the next generation will watch stories. This could be a big win both creatively and as a business move.”

Reports also say Vishnu is planning more big projects, keeping fans and the industry excited.
