Vishnu Manchu is gearing up for the release of his dream project, Kannappa. The film features the cameos of Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal. Vishnu is aggressively promoting the devotional fantasy entertainer, which is slated to release on June 27. In an exclusive interview with Pink Villa, Vishnu was asked about his future projects, including the much-anticipated sequel Dhee 2.
The actor stated, “I haven’t thought about any projects after Kannappa. There is a period film set in 1947, and we want to pull it off. I am right now concerned about Kannappa. Regarding Dhee 2, the director and I have been trying to get together. I would do that film within a heartbeat, but I just hope one day they will come up with a script.”
Vishnu Manchu confirmed that Dhee 2 is still in the works and said he is ready to begin filming as soon as the script is finalized. Though Vishnu hasn’t shared significant details about his immediate project, he hinted at doing a period film, which sounds exciting. Meanwhile, cinephiles are eagerly awaiting the sequel to Dhee, which is expected to make a strong impact at the box office whenever it releases.
