Vijay Deverakonda’s recent release Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, opened to decent reactions from audiences and registered solid box office collections on its first day.

The film earned Rs. 4.20 crore from the Nizam region, followed by Rs. 1.70 crore in Ceded. Uttharandhra contributed Rs. 1.16 crore, while Guntur recorded Rs. 0.75 crore. The East region brought in Rs. 0.74 crore, Krishna posted Rs. 0.59 crore, West accounted for Rs. 0.44 crore, and Nellore added Rs. 0.34 crore to the tally.

Altogether, the film collected a share of Rs. 9.92 crore across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on day one. These numbers are exclusive of GST. This is considered a good number for a regional film led by Vijay Deverakonda, especially when compared to the opening day figures of his recent outings. With the weekend ahead, the film is likely to gain further momentum, and the coming days will be crucial in determining its overall box office trajectory.

Kingdom features Bhagyashree Borse as the female lead, Satya Dev in a morally ambiguous role, and Venkitesh as the antagonist. The project is backed by producers Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
