As many expected, Vijay Deverakonda’s much-awaited film Kingdom, originally scheduled to release on May 30, 2025, has been postponed. The makers have now officially announced the new release date: July 4, 2025.

Directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, this spy action thriller has been delayed due to recent developments. The makers released an official statement:

“We explored every possibility to stick to the original date, but recent unforeseen events in the country and the current atmosphere have made it difficult for us to move forward with promotions or celebrations. We believe this decision will help us present Kingdom in the best possible way, with the creative excellence and spirit it deserves. We truly value your support and hope to receive your love when we meet you at the cinemas on July 4.”

They further added, “We’re grateful to Dil Raju garu and Nithiin garu for their understanding and support in making this change possible.” The postponement comes as Kingdom was set to coincide with the release of Nithiin’s Thammudu.

Bhagyashree Borse plays the female lead in the film. Kingdom is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Stay tuned for more updates on Kingdom.
