Rowdy Boy Vijay Deverakonda will be next seen in the rom-com entertainer Kushi. The actor’s last release Liger directed by Puri Jagannadh came amidst huge expectations, but it failed miserably at the box office.
During the trailer event of Kushi, Vijay Deverakonda spoke about Liger’s failure. Vijay Deverakonda said, “The one thing that upsets me about Liger’s result is that I didn’t see it coming. I said it would be a hit, and it didn’t succeed. The film’s failure didn’t affect me much, but I was like, how did I bloody hell not see it coming? I will shut my mouth and let my work speak for the next three films. It is a self-inflicted punishment because I embarrassed myself.”
Vijay Deverakonda further said that when a film doesn’t perform well, it does hurt. Vijay also said, “I am not scared of failures, but it hurts when a film fails. It’s like I am not scared of falling, but when I fall, it hurts.”
