Tamil actor, singer, producer, and director Vijay Antony was last seen in Maargan, a crime thriller directed by Leo John Paul. The film, which was released in theatres on June 27, 2025, received mixed reactions from critics and audiences.
After completing its four-week theatrical run, Maargan is now gearing up for its digital release. The film will begin streaming on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video from July 25, 2025, in both Tamil and Telugu.
Vijay Antony made the OTT announcement himself during the Telugu press meet of his upcoming film Bhadrakali, which is set to hit theatres on September 5, 2025.
How Maargan connects with home audiences remains to be seen. The film also features Ajay Dhishan, Samuthirakani, Brigida, Deepshikha, Mahanathi Shankar, and others in key roles. Vijay Antony has also composed the film’s music.
