Released on Friday, Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya’s Venky Mama has had an unbelievably superb first weekend at the box-offices across Andhra, Nizam and Ceded regions. On Sunday, the film played to houseful collections at many B and C and even some A centres in the twin Telugu states.
On Sunday, Venky Mama collected another Rs 5 crore plus share and took its 3-day AP and Telangana share to Rs 17.78 crore. Worldwide, Venky Mama has grossed nearly Rs 45 crores, as per an official announcement by the makers. Now that the weekend has come to an end, all eyes will now be on the film’s run during the weekdays.
