Thalapathy Vijay’s Vaarasudu, the Telugu version of Varisu, hit screens yesterday worldwide. Directed by the Tollywood filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally, the biggie has Rashmika Mandanna as Vijay’s lady love.
In Nizam, the movie has raked in a decent share of Rs. 1.4 crores (including GST) on its opening day. This is a decent opening for a Tamil movie dubbed into Telugu.
Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Srikanth, Shaam and others are also a part of this biggie, produced by Dil Raju under his home banner. Thaman S provided the soundtracks for this movie.
