Vada Chennai is Dhanush’s dream project and was released on Wednesday. The response has been terrific and the latest we hear is that the film has made a total gross of 8 crores in Tamil Nadu on the first day.
These are highest for any Dhanush film to date. In the city of Chennai alone, the film made a gross of 81 lakhs which is pretty good for a non-commercial film.
Vetrimaran directs this film which is a trilogy and has Andrea as the female lead. The other parts will come out in 2019.
