The much-awaited teaser for young debutants Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty’s long-delayed romantic drama, Uppena, was released yesterday to a positive response. The film was supposed to release in April last year, but it was postponed due to the lockdown.
And according to the latest reports, Uppena’s makers are planning to release the film on February 5. An official announcement regarding the release date is expected to be out soon. The makers have been patiently waiting for theaters to reopen so that the three debutants, Vaishnav Tej, Krithi Shetty and the film’s director Buchi Babu Sana will get a theatrical release first.
Devi Sri Prasad’s songs have been a huge hit with music lovers. The film has been jointly bankrolled under Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings banners.
