Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film Anamika is all set to hit the screens in February and slowly, the team is coming up with different ways to promote the film. On the occasion of Sankranthi, the film has begun promoting the film in a unique manner.
Since flying kites is a ritual during Sankranthi, the team introduced special kites in select few places with a ‘missing person’ tag printed on the kites. A person’s face and a tagline, “Ajay Sashtri Missing” was printed on these kites. Will his wife, Anamika Shastri be able to find him? Let’s wait and watch.
The film is a remake of Vidya Balan starrer Kahani and Nayanthara is playing the lead role in this remake. As per the latest reports, her name in the film is Anamika Sashtri, who comes to Hyderabad in search of her husband. Harshvardhan Rane and Vaibhav Reddy have played important roles. M M Keeravani has scored the music. More details about the film are expected to revealed soon.
