Dhanush and Nagarjuna’s upcoming action thriller, Kubera, is being eagerly awaited by fans and movie lovers. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna in a lead role, the Sekhar Kammula directorial had made a lot of noise when its intriguing first look posters and the lead actors’ teasers were unveiled.
Meanwhile, Kubera has landed in unexpected trouble. A Tollywood producer named Karimakonda Narender has claimed that he had registered the title Kubera with the Telugu Film Producer’s Council in November 2023 and that he has already completed a major portion of his film’s shoot. Narender went on to accuse director Sekhar Kammula of title infringement and demanded either a title change or compensation for the losses he incurred. Narender has requested the Telugu Film Chamber to intervene and do justice.
Sekhar Kammula’s Kubera has wrapped up its shoot, and the post-production formalities are underway at the moment. The film is being produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Devi Sri Prasad is the film’s music composer.
