Tamil star Vijay and Kajal are going to be seen romancing each other in the upcoming Tamil movie ‘Thupakki’. This movie is being released simultaneously in Telugu with the same title. Famous director Muruga Doss handled this project and he justified the film’s title in the following way. “A young man comes from a military family where sacrifice, honor and honesty are important values. But he faces a situation where he has to pick up a gun and take justice into his hands. Why does he do it? That needs to be seen”, he says.
Sobha Rani is the producer of the Telugu version and the film is getting a decent release in Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Deepavali.. Harris Jayaraj scored the music for this movie. Vijay has not been able to establish himself in the Telugu market so far unlike his peers Surya, Karthi and Ajith. He will be looking to change that with ‘Thupakki’.
The movie has been made with a big budget and features some well shot action sequences.
