We are already in mid-August, and the Independence Day week is here with plenty of fresh entertainment to enjoy at home. Here is what’s coming to different OTT platforms over the next few days.
Dorikina Premalekha:
Released on August 10, 2025, this short film is part of ETV Win’s Katha Sudha series. Directed by Konda Rambabu, it features Virajitha, Sravanthi Chokarapu, and others in important roles.
Saare Jahan Se Accha:
Netflix is bringing this spy action thriller set in the 1970s, starring Pratik Gandhi. Directed by Sumit Purohit and created by Gaurav Shukla, the show starts streaming on August 13, 2025. The Telugu version’s release hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Court Kacheri:
Sony LIV will premiere this Hindi legal drama on August 13, 2025. Created by Arunabh Kumar under the TVF banner, the series currently has no update on a Telugu release.
Constable Kanakam:
After Anaganaga and AIR-All India Rankers, ETV Win is back with Constable Kanakam. Starring Varsha Bollamma and directed by Prasanth Kumar Dimmala, this Telugu cop drama series arrives on August 14, 2025.
Tehran:
ZEE5 is all set to release John Abraham’s espionage thriller Tehran on August 14, 2025. Originally planned for theatres, the film faced multiple delays before heading to OTT. Directed by Arun Gopalan, it also stars Manushi Chhillar and Sharib Hashmi. There are less chances for its Telugu version release.
Andhera:
Amazon Prime Video’s Andhera is a supernatural horror thriller starring Prajakta Koli and Surveen Chawla. Directed by Raaghav Dar, it will be premiered on August 14, 2025. A Telugu release is almost doubtful.
Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal:
The Malayalam film starring Anaswara Rajan and Siju Sunny will debut on ManoramaMAX on August 14, 2025. It saw a modest run in theatres, and it is better not to expect the Telugu version on OTT.
JSK – Janaki V vs State of Kerala:
Anupama Parameswaran’s legal drama is ready to stream on ZEE5 on August 15, 2025, less than a month after its theatrical release. The Telugu version will be available alongside Malayalam and other languages.
