Vetrimaaran’s recent release, Viduthalai 2, fell short of expectations, leaving fans curious about his next move. Now, the acclaimed director has surprised one and all by teaming up with Simbu, a.k.a Silambarasan, for an intense gangster drama set against the backdrop of North Chennai.
The movie’s theme has sparked speculation about whether it’s a sequel to the cult classic Vada Chennai. The latest buzz suggests that star director Nelson, who made the blockbuster Jailer, is also a part of the film’s cast. Nelson previously made a cameo appearance in his own film Beast(in a song), starring Thalapathy Vijay.
Today, Vetrimaaran held a promo shoot featuring both Simbu and Nelson. The pictures from the set are already going viral on social media. However, it is unclear at the moment whether Nelson will be part of the film or only the promotional video.
