National Award-winning Kollywood star Dhanush, Tollywood star Nagarjuna, and young actress Rashmika Mandanna’s recently released socio-political thriller, Kuberaa, is going great guns at the box office. The film is said to have surpassed the Rs 50 crore milestone already and is gearing up for a big week at the cinemas worldwide.
Kuberaa’s makers celebrated the film’s success at a grand event on Sunday evening. Megastar Chiranjeevi was the chief guest at the event. Addressing fans and the media, Chiranjeevi said that director Shekar Kammula’s decision to cast Nagarjuna for Deepak’s character and Nag giving his nod to play the role was the first success of Kuberaa.
Chiru went on to say that he couldn’t recognize Dhanush in his beggar’s role in a particular scene. “Shekar Kammula’s movies always depicted reality. Even though he has made only ten movies in these 25 years, all his movies have struck a chord with audiences. I feel proud of Shekar Kammula’s journey in cinema,” said the Megastar.
