Indian cinema is gearing up for a major cinematic event as Thug Life, the much-anticipated gangster action drama, is scheduled to hit the big screen on June 5. Starring the legendary Kamal Haasan and directed by iconic Mani Ratnam, the biggie is set to ignite excitement with an aggressive promotional campaign.
The first single, Jinguchaa, composed by AR Rahman, has already become a chartbuster. The team has now laid out a strategic promotional roadmap to maintain the momentum. We have already reported that the trailer launch will happen on May 17. The latest update reveals that the Telugu version’s pre-release event will be held in the lovely Vizag city on May 29.
The audio launch is scheduled for May 24 in Chennai, with AR Rahman performing live. On the same day, an audio launch celebration event is planned in Hyderabad. With promotions rolling out across various states, the team is leaving no stone unturned to position Thug Life as a PAN-India blockbuster.
The movie also stars Simbu, Trisha, Ashok Selvan, Sanya Malhotra, Pankaj Tripathi, Nassar, Abhirami, and others in important roles. Thug Life is a joint production of Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth under the banners of Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies.
