Last night, Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan emerged a hero for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the semifinals of the ongoing IPL. Rashid’s all-round show with the bat and ball helped the Sunrisers Hyderabad pull off a thrilling victory over Kolkata Knight Riders and enter the IPL finals.
Playing for the Sunrisers, Rashid had first scored the crucial 34 runs off 10 balls and later took 3 wickets by just giving away 19 runs. The talented Afghani’s spirited performance was appreciated by all the cricket lovers across India and the world.
Even Superstar Mahesh Babu was in awe of Rashid. He took to Twitter last night and said, “Take a bow @rashidkhan_19 … Whatta match by @Sunrisers Can’t wait for Sunday.” And much to everyone’s surprise, Rashid replied to Mahesh, saying, “Thank you bro. Watching your movies keenly.” Needless to say, Rashid now has all the support from Mahesh Babu’s fans too.
