The first single from the Mega uncle-nephew duo Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming film, Bro, was released a couple days ago and it has been getting a mixed response from fans and music lovers. Many felt that composer Thaman is overworked and it has begun to reflect in his compositions of late.

Now, in an interaction with the media earlier today in Hyderabad, Thaman had no qualms in acknowledging that My Dear Markandeya is indeed getting mixed reactions. The National Award-winning composer said,” we can’t keep expectations for every film. The music is infused into the story by the levels of intensity that the story has. We can’t oblige the requests of fans every time. It’s not just me who takes the final call. There is a lyric writer and there is a director who has to okay it. So, many factors and challenges are involved in delivering the music to a film.”

However, Thaman is confident that Bro will be a huge blockbuster at the box office and that Mega fans will have a feast watching Pawan and Sai’s on-screen chemistry in theaters. Directed by Tamil actor-filmmaker Samuthirakhani and produced by TG Vishwaprasad, Bro is gearing up for its theatrical release on July 28.
