Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu non-theatrical rights sold for a bomb

Earlier in the day, we reported that Vijay’s Varisu shoot will be done by October. Now there is one more update that is going to stun the actor’s fans.

The word is that the film fetched a whopping 120 crores from its non-theatrical rights. Accordingly, the digital rights were bought by Prime Video for 60 crores, and the satellite rights were sold to Sun Network for about 50 crores. Around 10 crores of business was done for the audio rights.

Rashmika Mandanna plays the love interest of Vijay in this Vamsi Paidipally directorial. Billed to be a family entertainer, the film is bankrolled by Dil Raju and it has music by Thaman.
