Teja Sajja’s Mirai took a superb opening at the ticket windows. The fantasy entertainer is directed by Karthik Gattamneni and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad. Manoj Manchu played the antagonist. Elated by the bumper response, the makers conducted a success meet today in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the event, producer TG Vishwa Prasad said, “When I started my film journey, a few commented that I was making a mistake. Goodachari gave us a lot of credibility initially. Then we had a good flow with movies having a decent run. In 2024, our production house took a hit due to the decline in non-theatrical revenues. We suffered a big financial loss despite the movies being good.”
The producer added, “After a challenging period, Mirai has truly lifted our spirits. I thank Kartik Gattamneni for making this happen. During Karthikeya 2, we ran out of budget. We had to shoot a key sequence near Snow Mountain. Karthik suggested we shoot it in Hyderabad near ORR. It worked, and that is when I saw the spark in him.”
