In a recent interview, Nag Ashwin revealed that the shooting for the sequel is set to begin in mid-June 2025, much to the delight of fans.

Deepika Padukone, the film’s female lead, recently gave birth to a baby girl and is recovering well. As of now, she has not taken on any new projects. The makers of Kalki are eagerly waiting for her to confirm her availability so they can plan the shoot accordingly.

Since the film also features industry legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas, who have extremely busy schedules, securing clarity on their availability is crucial before moving forward.
