Yesterday, director Ram Gopal Varma unveiled the controversial ‘Vennupotu’ song from his ongoing biopic on legendary actor-politician NT Rama Rao. The song did not go down well with the supporters of the ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh.
Today, TDP Kurnool MLA SV Mohan Reddy filed a complaint against Ram Gopal Varma over Vennupotu song. In his complaint, Mohan Reddy alleged that RGV has deliberately portrayed AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu in the song. The MLA requested the Kurnool SP to take swift action against RGV and remove the song from social media.
