Jallikattu is a religious event which is very popular in the state of Tamil Nadu. But this event was banned by the supreme court two years back as it comes under domestic animal violence act.

Opposing the ban on Jallikattu, students and youngsters from Tamilnadu conducted a rally and many film fraternities joined the protest.

Few among them are young hero Simbu and musician-turned-actor GV Prakash who opposed this ban on Jallikattu. Several others starts are joining this movement and making a wide statement that the ban should be revoked.
