Ever since Tamannaah acted in 100% Love, she had become so busy with her projects in Telugu that she couldn’t get back to Tamil cinema. Her last film Venghai, in which she acted along with Dhanush, released back in 2011. After a gap of almost three years, she’s making a comeback of sorts in Tamil cinema with Veeram.

Directed by Shouryam Siva, the film has Ajith and Tamannaah in lead roles and it’s said to be a mass action entertainer. Over the past couple of years, Ajith has had a dream run at the box-office and his recent film Arrambham turned out to be a blockbuster. It’s been quite sometime since he has acted in a mass entertainer and his look in Veeram has become a huge sensation on social media. Now, all eyes are on Tamannaah, who’s playing Ajith’s romantic interest in the film. Although she hasn’t signed any other Tamil film, if this film clicks at box-office, she will have a lot more options to choose from.

Currently, Tamannaah is acting in Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu and two more Hindi film titled Humshakals and It’s Entertainment. Veeram is expected to release in early January, 2014.
