Tamannaah has reportedly turned down an offer to play the lead role in the Telugu remake of Aashiqui 2. Sachin Joshi had bought the remake rights few weeks ago and he’s going to play the lead role in the Telugu version. Bandla Ganesh will be supervising the production of the film here.
Few days ago, Sachin Joshi had revealed that a top actress will play the role, which was originally played by Shraddha Kapoor in the Hindi version, and he said that they were considering Kajal, Tamannaah and Catherine Tresa for the role. However, Tamannaah has turned down the offer citing lack of dates. The film’s pre-production is going to begin soon and the director is yet to be finalized.
Tamannaah has just comeback after a long shoot in Mauritius, where she had been filming for Humshakals. She’ll join the sets of Aagadu in Hyderabad later this month.
