It looks like senior producer Suresh Babu has been on a remake spree. He has already bought the Telugu remake rights of the recent Bollywood hits such as Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and De De Pyar De.
And the ongoing reports reveal that Suresh Babu has just sealed the deal to acquire the Telugu remake rights of the latest hit Bollywood comedy, Dream Girl. The film has national award winning actor Ayushmann Khurrana, Nushrat Bharucha and Annu Kapoor in lead roles. The film was produced by Ekta Kapoor and Nachiket Pantvaidya and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.
Meanwhile, the names of the lead actors and the director for Dream Girl’s Telugu remake are yet to be revealed. Although Raj Tarun is said to be in talks to reprise Ayushmann’s role, an official announcement is awaited. Stay tuned for further updates.
