India’s boxing champion, Mary Kom made history recently at the Women’s World Championships by beating Ukraine’s Hanna Okhota to clinch the gold medal for a record sixth time. She is the only boxer to achieve this stunning feat, and the whole country applauded her fighting spirit and determination to win the title.
Several celebrities and politicians have congratulated Mary Kom for winning the title, and now Superstar Mahesh Babu too has joined the chorus to praise the star boxing champion.

Incidentally, Mary Kom’s life has been adapted into a film and Priyanka Chopra had played her role in the biopic which released in 2014.
