Mollywood’s recent super hit crime thriller, Officer on Duty, starring Kunchacko Boban in the lead role, marks the directorial debut of Jithu Ashraf. The film is now set for its Telugu theatrical release.
E4 Entertainment has acquired the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana rights, with distribution handled by Mythri Movie Distributor LLP. The makers have announced March 7, 2025, as the Telugu release date, and it remains to be seen how the film will be received by audiences beyond the Malayalam industry.
The movie features Priyamani, Jagadish, Vishak Nair, and others in key roles. Jakes Bejoy composed the soundtrack, while Martin Prakkat Films produced the film.
