Siva Karthikeyan rose to stardom in Kollywood. With Doctor and Don, he has created a market in Telugu too. His last outing Prince directed by Anudeep KV came amidst high expectations, but the movie was a huge disappointment at the box office. Siva Karthikeyan will be next seen in Maaveeran.
The movie will be released as Mahaveerudu in Telugu. Popular television network Sun Tv has grabbed the satellite rights of the film. The same has been intimated by the production house Shanthi Talkies a while ago.
Madonne Ashwin, of Mandela fame, is the writer and director of this film. Aditi Shankar plays the female lead in Maaveeran, and Bharath Sankar is the tunesmith. The musical promotions have already begun, and the release date will be announced soon.
