Samantha Ruth Prabhu is back with her new film Subham, which was released last Friday. Though the word of mouth is positive, the box office collections have been underwhelming.

Taking this into consideration, Samantha stepped in and began her signature style of promotions. As a result, on the second day, two numbers were better than on day one.

However, that’s still not enough, as the film needs to earn more to break even. Samantha was recently in Vijayawada, where a special promotional event is scheduled to take place later today to boost the film’s performance.

Directed by Praveen Kadregula, Subham is a horror-comedy that also carries a strong message for women. It remains to be seen how much it will earn in the coming days.
