All eyes are on KH234. This sensational project would see the highly-anticipated collaboration between the two geniuses of Indian Cinema, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam, after 37 long years since the release of the duo’s iconic classic, Nayagan. KH234’s title announcement teaser will be out on November 7, coinciding with Kamal’s birthday.
Meanwhile, there has been a lot of speculation around KH234’s leading lady. Names of star heroines such as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha were rumored to be in consideration for this crazy project. And the latest updates reveal that it’s the gorgeous queen Nayanthara who has been roped in for the leading lady’s part. However, we will have to wait until the makers come up with a formal announcement in this regard.
Incidentally, Nayanthara was Mani Ratnam’s first choice to play Vikram and Abhishek Bachchan’s sister in Ravanan and Ravan respectively. However, Priyamani ended up playing the part eventually. KH234 is being jointly produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananthi on Raaj Kamal International Films and Madras Talkies banners, while Udhayanidhi Stalin is presenting the movie on Red Giant Films banner. AR Rahman is scoring the soundtrack.
