Tamil superstar Ilayathalapathy Vijay occasionally surprises his unit members by giving them either cash or gold. The actor reportedly continued his age-old tradition even with his upcoming film, Mersal.
According to the latest buzz in the Tamil film circles, Vijay recently gifted gold coins to 150 members of Mersal’s unit. Needless to say that the superstar’s gesture floored the movie’s unit and his fans.
Mersal’s audio album will be unveiled on August 20. The film is going to have a simultaneous release in Telugu as Adirindhi. Atlee is directing the film, while Kajal, Nithya Menon and Samantha are the female leads. Sri Thenandal Films banner is bankrolling its prestigious 100th project.
