Audiences across the nation are eagerly awaiting the prestigious SSMB 29, which marks the first collaboration between SS Rajamouli and Superstar Mahesh Babu. The first big reveal is set for November 2025. Rajamouli and his team have decided to film crucial portions in Kenya and recently visited the country for location scouting.
The sensational director, along with his team, met Musalia Mudavadi, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs. The minister heaped praise on Rajamouli, calling him a visionary filmmaker whose works have captured hearts across the continent. He also thanked the SSMB 29 team for choosing to showcase the scenic beauty of Kenya to the world.
In a tweet expressing his gratitude, the Kenyan minister unexpectedly disclosed that the film will be released in 120 countries, by far the widest release ever for an Indian film, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. Rajamouli is pulling out all the stops to ensure the film meets international standards. Reports also suggest that the RRR director is planning global promotional campaigns for SSMB 29.
The globe-trotting action adventure also features Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles. Veteran producer KL Narayana is bankrolling this big-ticket entertainer under the banner of Durga Arts, with Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani providing the music.
