Madharaasi, the latest Tamil actioner from AR Murugadoss starring Sivakarthikeyan and Rukmini Vasanth, is back in the headlines for its box office run.

The makers, Sri Lakshmi Movies, announced that the film crossed the Rs. 100 crore gross mark in just 13 days. While it was decently received in Tamil Nadu, the film failed to connect with Telugu audiences and quickly faded out in AP and TS.

Vidyut Jammwal plays the antagonist, with Biju Menon, Vikranth, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and others in supporting roles. The music is composed by Anirudh.
