Here’s Mahesh Babu and Namrata’s doting daughter Sitara recreating her great grandmother Meenakshi Shirodkar’s iconic song ‘Yamuna Jali Khelu Khel’ in a pool. While the yesteryear heroine looked classy and elegant in the song, Sitara’s cute recreation has left her fans amused.
“Hope I did it justice. She was the best,” Sitara posted, as she shared the video on her Instagram. Meenakshi Shirodkar is the grandmother of Namrata and Shilpa Shirodkar. She acted in several Hindi and Marathi films in the late 30s till the early 70s. Meenakshi had also acted in the popular Telugu classic, Pelli Chesi Choodu, in 1952.
