Ram Charan’s latest outing, Game Changer, left the fans heavily disappointed. More than the result, fans are unhappy with how the film was shot and promoted. Shankar handled Indian 2 and Game Changer simultaneously and failed to do justice to both. In an old interview, Shankar said that the film was over 5 hours long and wasn’t satisfied with the final cut.
Shameer Muhammed initially handled the editing for Game Changer before it was handed over to Ruben. In a recent interview, Shameer shocked everyone by saying that the film’s footage was actually 7.5 hours long. Shameer said, “Initially, the length was 7.5 hours. I shortened it to 3 hours, which was again reduced by another editor. I didn’t like Shankar sir’s working approach. It was a horrible experience. As it took longer than expected, I exited the project midway.”
That’s quite a big statement from the editor. Shameer’s interview byte is now doing rounds on social media, and netizens are bashing Shankar for being unprofessional and wasting the producer’s money and artists’ time. It is the dream of any actor to be part of a Shankar film, but unfortunately, Game Changer didn’t do any good to the cast and crew involved.
