We already reported that Superstar Rajinikanth will be teaming up with PA Ranjith, the young director who made critically acclaimed films like Atta Kathi and Madras. The film is expected to commence its regular shoot in July and being a quickie, the entire shoot will be wrapped up in just 45 days. After this, Rajinikanth will team up with Shankar for Robo 2, a sequel of the duo’s blockbuster visual effects wonder Robo.
As per the Tamil media circles, Shankar has now roped in popular Tamil and Malayalam novelist and screenplay writer B Jeyamohan to pen the script for Robo 2. Jeyamohan is one of the highly revered writers in Tamil literary circles and some of his famed works in films include Mani Ratnam’s Kadali, Kamal’s Papanasam, Bala’s Nenu Devunni and Siddharth’s Kaaviya Thalaivan.
As per the buzz, Shankar hired a posh office for Jeyamohan to carry out the scriptwriting process.
