Shakuni’s audio launch on June 1

Karthi, Pranitha Subhash starrer Shakuni is in the last stage of production. The film was supposed to hit the screens in January; however, it had to be postponed to summer this year because of a long strike in Kollywood. Shankar Dayal is directing the film and it is being touted as a political satire. Gnanavel Raja is presenting the film and Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the Telugu version. “Shakuni is a different type of commercial film. Shankar Dayal has handled the subject very well and I am glad that a top producer like Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the Telugu version of the film. I hope it becomes a big hit in Telugu,” Karthi said. Bellamkonda Suresh has announced that the film’s audio will be launched in a grand ceremony on June 1 at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad. GV Prakash has composed the music. Shakuni is expected to hit the screens in the third week of June.
