It’s well known that Bollywood actress Richa Chadda has played the titular role in Shakeela, a biopic on the life of former Telugu and Malayalam adult film star Shakeela. The film’s Hindi, Tamil and Kannada versions were released successfully in over 900 screens across India on December 25, while the Telugu version is slated to open in cinemas on January 1st.
Shakeela’s Telugu trailer was launched earlier today. The film also features Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi and Esther Noronha in key roles. Noted Kannada filmmaker Indrajith Lankesh has directed the movie while Sammy Nanwani and Saravana Prasad produced it. UFO Moviez is again gearing up to release the Telugu version in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
