Setback for Baby Hindi remake: Babil Khan walks out

Sai Rajesh’s Baby was a sensational hit when it released in Telugu, and as many know, the film is now being remade in Hindi with a fresh cast, while Sai Rajesh continues as the director. However, the project has unexpectedly hit a roadblock.

Although it wasn’t officially announced, many were aware that Babil Khan, son of the late Irrfan Khan and recently seen in Log Out, was playing the lead in the Hindi remake. But now, the actor has taken to Instagram to announce that he is no longer part of the film. Around the same time, Sai Rajesh also shared his version of the update, confirming the news. He’s now in search of a new actor to fit the role.

Babil’s decision might be connected to a recent viral video where he was seen breaking down emotionally and calling out Bollywood, even mentioning a few celebrity names. While his team later clarified the situation and deactivated his Instagram account, it seems the incident may have prompted him to step back and take a break—leading to his exit from the Baby remake.

All eyes are now on Sai Rajesh to see who he will turn to next, and what direction producer SKN and the team will take. Let’s wait and watch how things unfold.
