Released in 2028, the slice-of-life anthology film, Care of Kancharapalem, went on to receive critical acclaim and commercial success. The film was produced by a US-based doctor named Praveena Paruchuri and distributed by Rana Daggubati’s family-owned Suresh Movies.
Now, almost 8 years after their first collaboration, both Rana Daggubati and Praveena Paruchuri have joined hands with each other for yet another intriguing project. The official announcement was made on Saturday, and the makers claimed that they are going to bring us “A love letter to Telugu cinema.”
“To the Telugu films we grew up with, cheered for, cried with, and never stopped loving,” read the announcement. The as-yet-untitled film will be jointly produced by Rana’s Spirit Media and Praveena’s Paruchuri Vijaya Praveena Arts banners. More details about the movie will be revealed soon.
