Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, headlined by Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, was mounted on a huge budget by Rakul Preet Singh’s husband, Jackky Bhagnani. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie turned out to be a massive disaster at the box office due to its poor screenplay. Following the film’s failure, rumors surfaced that Jackky Bhagnani had gone bankrupt.
In a recent interview, Jackky Bhagnani opened up about the tough times he and his family faced after the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. He said, “I redeveloped my Juhu office. This is the same building that was in the news. They said I had to sell it off because I’d gone bankrupt, and that I didn’t even have money to buy food. They said I had run away. I don’t want to blame anybody for these rumors, but I don’t know how they started.”
Jackky Bhagnani added that his family went through a lot and admitted he faced difficulties securing loans from banks, as they believed he wouldn’t be able to repay them. The Hindi producer didn’t mince words and said that giving a chance to Ali Abbas Zafar was his biggest mistake.
