Raju Weds Rambai has turned into a surprise box office hit. It opened as a small film but collected about Rs. 7.5 crore gross in its first three days, driven by strong word of mouth.
Viewers are now curious about its OTT release. The digital rights are with ETV Win, and in a recent interview, presenter Bunny Vas clarified the plan. Unlike most Telugu films that land on OTT about four weeks after release, Raju Weds Rambai will arrive on streaming only after finishing 50 days in theaters. This means the film is expected to start streaming during Sankranthi 2026, most likely between January 10 and 16, 2026.
Anyone waiting to watch it at home may want to consider a theatrical viewing, since the gap between the theatrical and digital release is longer than usual.
The film marks Saailu Kaampati’s directorial debut and stars Chaitanya Jonnalagadda, with Shivaji Raja and Anitha Chowdary in supporting roles. It is produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi, with music by Suresh Bobbili.
