Superstar Rajinikanth played a cameo role in Lal Salaam, which is now out in theatres. The actor will be next seen in Vettaiyan, which is being directed by TJ Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame. Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh are in for crucial roles.
This ensemble star cast and the recently released title teaser increased the expectations. The latest update is that 80% of Vettaiyan’s shoot is wrapped up. Rajini himself revealed this info. He added that after Vettaiyan, he will join the shoot of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s movie. Rajinikanth said that they are yet to decide on the release date.
Vettaiyan will have all the commercial aspects that one expects from a Rajini film. Also, the director is said to have integrated social elements into this story. Subaskaran is producing this big-ticket film under the banner of Lyca Productions. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the tunes.
