Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie, Coolie, is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of this year. Rajini joining forces with star Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the first time has added additional craze for the project.
Given the massive hype and expectations for Coolie, the film’s producers at Sun Pictures have been receiving whopping deals from distributors all over the world. As per the latest buzz, Coolie makers have received a sensational Rs 80 crore deal from an overseas distributor. If finalized, this would be an all-time record pre-release business for a Tamil movie. The deal is expected to be sealed soon, and more details will be out in the coming days.
Coolie also features Tollywood star Nagarjuna, Bollywood star Aamir Khan, Sandalwood star Upendra, Malayalam actor Soubin Shahir, Shruti Hassan, and others in prominent roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for this high-budget gangster drama. Coolie will be hitting theaters worldwide on August 14, clashing with Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s much-awaited spy thriller, War 2.
