SS Rajamouli had already revealed that Hindu mythological epic, Mahabharata will be his last and final project whenever it happens and it obviously is his dream project.
Now, Rajamouli anticipates a change in paradigm in general as well. He says there will be more films with mythological touch from other filmmakers as well.
“Our filmmakers have realised the true potential of mythological films. I anticipate that there will be many more films with mythological touch in the coming years. There’s a lot of potential here. Other filmmakers are actively exploring the ideas of making films on mythology,” he said.
For instance, a recent Telugu film that was made with a mythological touch and went on to become a box office hit is Karthikeya 2.
